LQ has this card to give value-added service to our customers who drives into Malaysia for business or leisure. Breakdown or accident cases in Malaysia can be a painful experience for some Singaporeans.

This is due to the Insurance Association of Malaysia ruling on towing service ie. on a first-come first serve basis. Therefore, the car owner has no other choice - Singaporeans will be charged a very high towing fee (usually RM500-RM800) and this does not depend on towing distance.

If you decide to have your car towed to Singapore, you have to pay RM300 for the Malaysian Immigration levy. After which, you would still have to engage a Singapore towing service to tow your vehicle into Singapore. Imagine the inconvenience.
